Lists, lists…

I do love the end of the year, with its lists of the good, the bad and the ugly.

Mashable has posted their list of the top social networks for 2006. The usual suspects are on there, but there are quite a few pleasant surprises, particularly in the “hot for 2007″ category. In keeping with my appetite for lists, my favourite among them is LibraryThing, and its clever and useful BookSuggester and UnSuggester, both of which provide you with an amusing list at the click of a button.

I’m still working my way through the Guardian’s new 100 most useful sites list, many of which I’ve never paid any attention to before.

Of course, those loveable tehno-curmudgeons at The Register have given us a list of villains and cheats: The Vulture’s Mobile Awards 2006. And who could possibly live without the top 20 weirdest gadgets of 2006? I’ve already ordered a USB pole dancer.
